Bring a favorite short poem or short, beautiful paragraph to read aloud around the campfire. Or heck, bring two. Choose work that celebrates Midsummer! One piece may be your own work. Keep 'em short!

It's all part of Solstice in the Pines. Bring food to share, drinks for yourself and friends/family, and dinnerware too. Try not to use disposable stuff, which is pretty hard on Mother Earth. A folding chair might keep you comfy, too. 

Families welcome; plan your poems accordingly. The event is free but you'll have to pre-register to find out where we're meeting. It'll be a 5-8 minute drive from downtown Sisters. We appreciate donations to the nonprofit New Oregon Arts & Letters, and also appreciate any firewood/kindling you might want to bring along.
