Tarot for the Creative Soul

Join us at Solstice in the Pines to explore the creative and intuitive aspects of Tarot reading. Great for artists, writers, and creatives of all stripes. Thursday 1-2 pm and/or Saturday 1:30-2:30.

Use the tradition of Tarot cards to tap your intuition, shake up preconceptions, and delve into your creative spirit. All levels welcome, best suited to beginner-intermediate readers. Bring a favorite Tarot or other cartomancy deck if you have one (Tarot preferred). If you're an artist or writer, bring along your favorite writing or drawing tools.

Stay on for writing workshops, Poetry Share Potluck Campfire, and more later that day (please pre-register).

NOTE: Our exercises and discussions will focus on intuitive, everyday Tarot, not Kabbalistic or highly esoteric approaches.

Your workshop leader is T, a.k.a. Miss Magdalen of Mystical Mayhem. The creator of the Burning Tarot deck at Burning Man and the Richard Foreman Oracle at Performance Works NW, she's been reading Tarot for nearly 30 years. Her writings about oracles, astrology, and Tarot have appeared in magazines like Bust and Wired, the book Net Chick, and Rob Breszny's Free Will Astrology. It's possible she wrote horoscopes for a teen fashion magazine in the '90s, but she may or may not admit it.

HOW TO REGISTER
Please send email to neworegonarts (at) gmail.com if interested. Sliding scale suggested donation is $10-40 per class. Location will be outdoors within a 5-10 minute drive of downtown Sisters, Ore.
